Senator Guibion Ferdinand has been endorsed by the executive of the Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP) again to be the candidate for the Micoud South constituency. Per data from the Electoral Department, current MP Prime Minister Allen Chastanet received 2541 votes in the 2016 general elections, defeating Ferdinand who had 1409.
