Despite calls by the police for the public to resolve grievances amicably during the holidays, Saint Lucia has recorded another homicide. Witnesses tried in vein to render aid to the victim. The victim is 45-year-old Aaron cooper of Anse Ger, Micoud, who was allegedly attacked over a disagreement on a dance-floor.

bout 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, officers attached to the Micoud Police Station received a report of a chopping at Anse Ger, Micoud. On arrival, officers encountered Aaron Cooper, a forty-five-year old resident of Anse Ger, who sustained an injury to his neck, following an altercation with a known male who is currently in police custody in relation to this incident.
